I’m from Brazil, city of Coaraci Bahia.

Born in December 3, 1983.

 

I start training Jiu jitsu because I always was in Love with martial arts, first time I heard about Jiu Jitsu was when  I saw the MMA Show called (Pride) I saw the first time Rodrigo Minotauro submitting this huge guy Bob Sappy 70 pounds Heavier and I start to see more about Gracie family Watching Royce Gracie win the first UFC, showing the world that the Jiu jitsu was the most effective martial arts in the world, so  right the way I followed in love with this martial art Jiu jitsu.

Even though I wanted to start Jiu jitsu, my home town didn’t have it. 

I trained Judô first. I did it for 2 years before I had my first Jiu Jitsu class with Professor Wilson Reis, former UFC fighter.

 

I teach Jiu Jitsu because I Love it I feel like I’m helping people be better human beings I feel blessed do what I do because I Love it for me is I’m leaving my dream be able to make my life teaching Jiu jitsu building confidence in people and  building strong community.

 

I like to work with anyone that is looking to be better, Kids, adults, older anyone.

 

I’m a black belt first degree under João Paulo Faria, I’m an active competitor in Jiu Jitsu.

Main titles multiple times IBJJF tournaments champion:

• World champion SIBJJF brown and black belt 
• Worlds No Gi Third place
• Pan ams champion IBJJF No gi
• Worlds Master IBJJFThird place
• North American international IBJJF champion 
• American Nationals IBJJF champion 

 

I have been training since 2006 and started teaching when I was a purple belt in 2015. Since I got to San Diego I have been training under professor João Paulo Faria.
